The world is experiencing a number of issues as a result of the risingtemperature, including rapid glacier melting, heavy rain, severe droughts, and othernatural disasters. As society has industrialised and changed its way of life, anincreasing amount of greenhouse gases have been released into the atmosphere, contributing to global warming.

The urgent need to reduce carbon emissions has been emphasised by
governments all over the world on a number of venues. Every single person
contributes to global warming, hence it is their responsibility to reduce the factors
that are causing the increase in global temperature.

The key to combating global warming may lie in sustainable living. It refers
to a manner of living in which resources are utilised to meet current demands while
still remaining accessible to future generations. Sustainable development goals
2030 are a strategy developed by the UN to make the world sustainable by that
year. It ensures both government and citizen participation in creating a sustainable
world.

The goals for sustainable development are being aggressively implemented
by governments. Every person has the ability to make small, durable improvements
to their everyday routine. There some changes that one can adopt to live a
sustainable life and help the world.

Reducing the use of goods and services that contribute to global warming is
the first step on the road to sustainable living. Start the day early to take advantage
of as much sunlight as possible and try to finish your tasks in natural light to use
less electricity.

Use the least amount of water necessary throughout everyday activities to
conserve water and stop the use of electricity required to pump water to the earth's
surface. Set up roof top solar panels to create electricity instead of a traditional
power source. Instead of running water, use buckets to save water waste. Install a
water harvesting system at home to keep the ground water level up.

Ride a bicycle for transportation to lessen your reliance on fossil fuel-
powered automobiles. Operate battery-powered automobiles to cut down on carbon
emissions. Instead of driving alone, choose to carpool. The healthiest form of
exercise for both human and environmental health is walking.

Reduce your dependency on imported food by eating locally grown food;
this will require less transportation and leave fewer carbon footprints. Create a
kitchen garden on your roof so you may grow your own food and become less
dependent. To save energy, cook with less fire in the kitchen and substitute fresh
fruits and vegetables for cooked food.

Plastic is bad for the environment; instead of throwing it away, chop up
plastic bottles and fill them with mud to grow plants. Produced leftovers can be
thrown into a compost pile to transform them into natural manure. Try to avoid
single use products in daily life. Donate used clothing to persons in need. Make art
and crafts out of household waste.

Recycling is very helpful in maintaining a sustainable lifestyle. Recycling
relieves pressure on resource by allowing the same raw material to be used
multiple times, resulting in lower carbon emissions and waste.
