Mumbai, 2 November (HS): A special court has reserved its verdict on Wednesday on the bail plea of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut in the Patrachal scam case. The court has extended Raut's judicial custody till November 9. Now the PMLA court will pronounce its verdict on the bail petition on November 9.
Sanjay Raut's bail plea in the Patrachal scam case was heard in a special court on Wednesday. Advocate Ashok Mundargi appeared for Sanjay Raut. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) counsel presented a written reply in the court on Wednesday. After this, the special court reserved the verdict on Sanjay Raut's bail plea.
Raut was arrested on July 31, by the ED after discovering from a money laundering angle in the Goregaon Patrachal ₹1034 crore scam case. Raut has been kept in Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai.
